Voice Practice
Harmonization of the psychophysiological state through a healthy and natural sound
Since ancient times and in all cultures professional mastery of the voice has been the prerogative of influential people: warlords, monarchs, priests of any cult. After all, the human voice is one of the most powerful means of influence on other people as well as on the inner state of the one who sounds.
Voice is a special, more unique than fingerprints, property of each person, a kind of reflection of his or her personality.
It affects directly the deep, evolutionarily ancient channels of human perception, which read information about the physical and emotional state of the speaker. The opposite is also true: with the help of exercises putting the voice in order, it is possible to regulate emotions and perception, to increase self-confidence, to relieve stress and muscle strain.

"The Phonopedic Method of Voice Development" (FMRG) was developed by V. Emelyanov, Candidate of Pedagogy. V. Emelyanov is a singer and actor of musical theater, researcher of aesthetic anthropology, bioacoustics and physiology of the vocal apparatus. For more than 30 years it has been used at all levels, from kindergartens to opera houses. And its first sphere of application was restoration of vocal health, including singing people, and readjustment of the voice to more effective, safe and natural modes of operation.
In 2008, M.N. Grashina, a business consultant, expert in professional burnout relief, composer and singer, developed ways to apply voice practices to stress management of professionals from a wide variety of fields. In 2013, at her request, V. Emelyanov developed a training that included the earlier FMRG practices for working with non-singing people, supplemented with new research.

The 10-year experience of FMRG application within the framework of the school created by M.N. Grashina has shown that the use of voice practices gives a number of results, improving the quality of people's lives:
- development of creative abilities, self-actualization and self-expression skills;
- strengthening of self-confidence and self-esteem;
- increasing initiative and responsibility;
- improvement of communicative skills: reducing the number of conflicts, development of the ability to negotiate and work in a team;
- normalization of the psycho-physiological state, muscle relaxation, and reduction of anxiety.
